Grant Readiness

We have all been there: a client or your CEO sends you a high priority email, “We need to go after all of those available grant dollars!” Whether your organization or client already receives private foundation dollars and suddenly decides they want public funds, or vice-versa, or they are new to the grant world, there are key considerations to review and prepare for.

Our own Patrina Pelton-Smith will share her years of experience guiding organizations through grant readiness assessments and help us review all of those details that must be in place in order to take advantage of every opportunity. She will also share how the changing grants landscape has impacted preparations, and how readiness may differ for varying organizations, including those who identify as BIPOC. She will also guide us through the added challenge of managing expectations. Please come with questions or topics to discuss so we can tap into the wealth on insight within our chapter as well!
